13. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of the page shows when it was most recently changed.
14. Website analytics
Purpose. We use our own first-party analytics to understand how visitors use skycoaches.co.uk so we can improve our pages, routes and the enquiry process. Analytics are switched off by default and only run if you choose "Accept analytics". Scrolling, closing the banner or continuing to browse is never treated as consent.
Event categories. We record session starts, page views, enquiry form started and submitted, and clicks on booking enquiry, get a quote, call, WhatsApp, email, return deal and request return coach buttons, together with the page path and limited context such as route or return journey slug, button location and referral source category.
Anonymous session ID and session duration. A random identifier is created in your browser after you accept. It is not connected to your name, email address, telephone number or account, it is held in session storage only, and it ends when you close the browser tab. Analytics do not run on the admin area, customer portal or driver portal.
Retention. Raw analytics events are retained for a maximum of 13 months and are then deleted.
Consent and withdrawal. You can accept, reject or change your analytics choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. Withdrawal takes effect immediately and clears the anonymous session ID.
No sale or advertising use. We never sell analytics data and never use it for advertising, ad targeting or profiling.
Staff access controls. Analytics reporting is restricted to authorised Sky Coaches staff with the appropriate administrative role. Reports show aggregate counts only and never display customer names, email addresses or telephone numbers.
