Sky Coaches

Your journey, responsibly managed

Safety at Sky Coaches

Sky Coaches takes a responsible approach to passenger transport. We plan journeys carefully, maintain our vehicles through documented inspection schedules and expect our drivers to follow applicable licensing, drivers’ hours and road-safety requirements.

Licensed operation

Our services are operated in accordance with the requirements that apply to our passenger transport operations. Vehicle and driver suitability is checked when allocating each journey.

Vehicle checks and maintenance

Vehicles are subject to planned maintenance and safety inspections. Drivers complete pre-journey checks and report defects so that concerns can be assessed before a vehicle enters service.

Professional drivers

Journeys are assigned to appropriately licensed drivers. Routes and schedules are planned with drivers’ hours, required breaks, traffic conditions and journey duration in mind.

Seat belts and passenger responsibility

Passengers should use seat belts whenever they are fitted and follow reasonable safety instructions given by the driver. Group organisers remain responsible for supervising children and vulnerable passengers.

Journey planning

We review pickup points, destinations, planned stops, accessibility information and luggage requirements before travel. Customers should tell us about mobility needs, child travel requirements or unusual luggage when requesting a quotation.

During your journey

Please remain seated where required, keep aisles and exits clear, avoid distracting the driver and follow the driver’s instructions. In an emergency, follow the driver’s directions and use the marked exits.
